Victoria West was born in London, England to an English father and Danish mother – but spent the vast majority of her childhood in Africa and the Middle East. Travelling has always been in Victoria’s blood. Even as a child, her father’s career as a diplomat meant the family shifted from country to country on a regular basis.
At the age of eighteen, she studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Oxford University. It was in her last year of study, when Victoria joined her mother, a marine biologist, on a scuba diving expedition in Madagascar. During this trip, she met her father’s good friend, Sir Kenneth Greene, a former head of Britain’s Secret Intelligence Service who inspired her career in MI6. Rising through the ranks to become one of their top agents, she eventually become disillusioned with the politics at play and resigned.
Victoria now operates as a freelance agent. Respected by world leaders, intelligence agencies and militiamen across the globe – her services are in high demand. But no longer tied to the British government, Victoria only takes on assignments that interest her and that she feels passionate about. When she’s not solving murders, she can be found relaxing at her villa in the South of France.
